Network settings

Network Adapter Selection and Configuration

Calibration PRO Server and Client Instances: Must use the network card (NIC) from the same network.

  • Example:
    • Server PC: 192.168.178.1
    • Client PC1: 192.168.178.2
    • Client PC2: 192.168.178.3

Default Ports for Immersive Calibration PRO:

  • Discovery: TCP:56000
  • Control: TCP:55555

Important

Changes of Discovery Port and Control Port must be done on all PCs in the same way!

Adapter Change:

  • By default, TCP Discovery and Discovery Interfaces listening on all network adapters (AnyIPv4 (0.0.0.0)).
  • Change the adapter from AnyIPv4 (0.0.0.0) (all adapters) to a specific adapter to restrict the remote control functionality to this network interface.

Port Change

Changes of Discovery Port and Control Port must be done on all PCs in the same way!

Server network settings

Access from Menu > File > Advanced settings > Network

Server network settings

  • Discovery:
    • Bonjour zero-config. Use this with Bonjour discovery
    • Direct server connection. Use this with Direct server discovery
  • Network: Direct server discovery network. Select the network interface if you have multiple NICs on your system or reave to AnyIPv4 (0.0.0.0)
  • Port: Direct server discovery port. Select IP port or leave the default TCP:56000

Client network settings

Access from Menu > Settings

Client network settings

  • Network adapter: The network adapter on which the Client receives Control from Server. Select the network interface if you have multiple NICs on your system or reave to AnyIPv4 (0.0.0.0)
  • Port: Client control port. Select IP port or leave the default TCP:55555
  • Discovery:
    • Bonjour zero-config. Use this with Bonjour discovery
    • Direct server connection. Use this with Direct server discovery
  • Server IP address: The IP address of the Server instance, when the Server si configured for Direct server discovery
  • Port: Direct server discovery port. Select IP port or leave the default TCP:56000
