Frequently asked questions
What are the best auto-alignment conditions
Before initiating camera auto-alignment, consider the following conditions for successful calibration:
- Reduce ambient light: Minimize ambient light for better scanning quality. Turn off lights, close windows, etc.
- Properly adjust your camera: Make sure your camera is properly set up. Disable all camera auto-settings and configure the exposure for maximum contrast.
- Check focus: Ensure your camera and projectors are focused, but do not use auto-focus.
- Keep camera and projectors stable: Ensure neither the camera nor the projectors move or shake during the scanning process.
- Avoid external interruptions: Prevent any disturbances, such as people passing in front of the camera or between the projector and the surface.
- Ensure projector overlap: Provide sufficient overlap between the projectors. For best results design for 15% to 20% projector overlap.
