Auto-alignment Mode
The first step in configuring the auto-alignment project is to select the screen shape and the auto-alignment mapping mode.
Two major mapping modes are available: Map on projector and Map on camera. For this auto alignment with cameras, the Map on camera will be used.

- Select Tiled projectors (No projector stacking)
- Select Partial dome projection screen type
- Select Map on camera mapping mode
- Press the Create button
Mapping modes: Map on camera vs Map on projector
- In Map on camera mode, the projection screen surface is mapped in the camera view before the projectors are scanned in the same camera view.
- Auto-alignment can be performed without a camera, known as Map on projector mode.
- In Map on projector mode, the projected image is mapped onto the projection surface by projecting a screen grid image and aligning it on the projection screen.
The only difference between Map on camera and Map on projector are the Views and Map&Scan steps. Whe the steps differ between Map on camera and Map on projector*, both steps will be explained.
The remaining auto-alignment steps are identical.
