Map (On projector)
In this step, all projectors are mapped to the projection screen surface. No camera is used during mapping the projectors.
Map the projected grid
The goal of this step is to accurately map the projector image on the screen. Using the view definition from Views, each projector projects a screen grid defined in the Views section. Each point from the projector screen grid, must be mapped on the corresponding projector marker. When moving the projected grid point on the screen the user must look at the screen and accurately position the dragged point to the screen marker.
Once six or more reference markers are defined and mapped, the software automatically calculates and maps the rest of the projector grid on the screen.
Make only the first projector visible. - Select Menu > On projectors > Black > All projectors
to turn all projectors output off. - Select Menu > On projectors > Screen grid > Projector 1
to show the projector identity image only for the first projector.

- Select View1.
- Select Screen.
- Ensure
Automap
andContinuous
calculation mode is enabled. - Select and drag six or more grid points to the corresponding markers on the screen surface.
- For each grid point, press the
SPACE
key to indicate that it is a reference point used in the auto-map calculations. - Move the grid points as accurately as possible to the screen markers while looking at the screen.
- Use
Right-mouse
drag for more accurate movement. - Use
Control + Arrows
keys to move the selected grid point - Use
Shift + Arrows
keys to more accurately move the selected grid point.
- Use
- When six or more points are mapped to their corresponding screen markers, the screen grid is automatically mapped.
- For each grid point, press the

Repeat these steps for View2 and View3.
Manual fine tuning
Depending on the accuracy of the screen shape and the screen measurements, the mapped grids per projector in the overlapped areas might not be 100% aligned. In such a case define one or more additional reference points in the overlapping area of each projector and drag the points over the same points in the another projector grid. Repeat this for each projector until the projected grids are perfectly aligned.

Calculate the auto-alignment and edge-blending
After all the projectors are mapped to the screen, click the Calculate
button. This will start the calculation of the geometrical projection and edge-blending.

Once the calculation is finished the software will show a test image on the projection screen. The calculated geometrical projection and edge-blending is applied and the test image is perfectly aligned on the projection screen.

Tip: Other test images
- Use the

button to select other test images. - Use the
Menu > Tools > Images
to open theImages manager
and create or load custom test images.
